How Can You Reduce Fatigue? We have all felt the effects of fatigue at some time or
another, which can end up affecting relationships and in some case’s
our livelihood. Changes to your lifestyle can lead to an increase in
energy and can be achieved through changes in your diet, exercise
routine or through the use of supplements to increase your energy and
stamina. Aerobic exercise can also greatly reduce fatigue. People who regularly engage in exercise experience better sleep and when exercise is performed on a regular basis they usually fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply and awaken less frequently than sedentary persons. Getting adequate amounts of sleep can greatly affect the fatigue a person may experience the next day. The usual amount of sleep required to functional optimally is around eight hours. It is important to allow adequate down time before going to sleep so that you don’t go to bed and struggle to get off to sleep. It is also beneficial for those who have trouble getting off to sleep to avoid eating foods which are high in sugar and caffeine before going to sleep. There are a range of supplements which are very effective at increasing your energy and stamina. Some of these include ginseng, guarana and coenzyme Q10 which can boost your energy substantially. Some people may also find that their diet is deficient in iron and magnesium and when these are low it can lead to fatigue and lethargy so supplementation of these important minerals can improve energy when a deficiency exists.
