Sarah Franklin is a naturopathic practitioner, acupuncturist and a registered nurse.

Sarah graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Nursing and then worked in acute nursing environments which included oncology, palliative care, respiratory, gerontology, orthopedics and accident & emergency. Whilst working
in oncology she identified that natural medicine would be beneficial to patients with chronic illnesses and that both alternative and traditional medicine would benefit patients in their own way. With this insight she then pursued studies in natural therapies whilst working with a major health product retailer, and then an elite health retreat whilst maintaining hospital nursing.

In March 2007, Sarah commenced her own naturopathic clinic in Kirra and undertakes regular presentations for the Queensland and New South Wales Cancer Council Foundation. Sarah also facilitates in-services for oncology nurses in hospitals on how natural therapies and conventional medicine can work together to improve patient outcomes. She also gives presentations to general practice groups and medical cancer conventions.
